About me
Erin Johnson is currently the English Learner Education Program Coordinator for Andover Public Schools, bringing over 20 years of experience as an ESL teacher in urban districts across Rhode Island and Massachusetts, working with students in grades PreK-8. For the past six years, she has served as a district ELE Coordinator, dedicated to fostering inclusive and equitable educational opportunities for multilingual learners. Since 2012, she has also been an SEI Endorsement instructor, committed to empowering educators with the tools to support diverse language learners. Passionate about language acquisition, cultural exploration, and deepening understanding through active listening, Erin brings enthusiasm and a student-centered approach to her work every day.
