Since the funding for universal free school meals in Massachusetts was made permanent in 2023, participation in these programs has skyrocketed. This mean the cost to the Commonwealth has gone up too. Learn how school districts can maximize the federal dollar allocation for this critical program through direct certification and participation in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) of the National School Lunch Program.
