Attendees will leave the presentation with an understanding of the current status of the Global Education Security Standard (GESS). Over the past year GESS has been updated to Version 2.0, a free self assessment made available to vendors and partnerships have formed with third party auditing/certifying organizations. Audience members will be presented with the current version of GESS and leave with an understanding of the role of GESS in the education ecosystem to normalize security controls across the EdTech vendor marketplace.
